My name is Marie DesMarais. I am an artist, jewelry maker and teacher living in Philadelphia, PA.Unique Annick came about as a way of talking about my jewelry and grew into this new web site. Annick is my middle name, and unique is certainly one of my aspirations. The easy rhyme was just too hard to resist.


I just started an an online store where you can find customizable fabric banners, original artwork, a variety of cards and more. This list will be added to constantly, so stop by often.

For more on what I'm doing, thinking and feeling be sure to check out the What's New section. It is a sort of blog that I'll be using to announce shows, feature new work and generally just talk about whatever I want.

What I’m Working On

Fabric Name Banners!!! I have started making custom name banners that feature fabric letters sewn onto fabric panels. These panels are then strung together to create the banner. You can also add silhouettes from a growing list of animals, plants and other figures.

The banners are great for a welcome home, birthday parties or to add a nice piece to any child's bedroom. You can read more about the banners (and see some pictures) on my blog page, or head on over to my new online shop and customize one for yourself.
